3 days Samburu Kenya Safari
Embark on an exciting 3 days safari to Sanburu a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya. It is 165 km2 (64 sq mi) in size and is 350 km (220 mi) from Nairobi, in the Northern part of Kenya. Samburu is famous for its rare species of animals such as the Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. Samburu is also home to a population of almost 900 Elephants.
Samburu is a year-round safari destination, but wildlife viewing is usually best in the dry months from June to October and December to March. Because of the dry season, the animals tend to congregate along the Ewaso River to drink and eat and it’s easier to spot them.

Samburu National Reserve is located 310km-325km from Nairobi depending on the entry point on the Northern part of Kenya in Samburu, Kenya. The most common animals that are spotted in Samburu national reserve are; Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Elephants, Waterbucks, Hippos, Reticulated Giraffes, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Lions, Cheetahs , African Leopard and numerous bird species including vultures, the Nile Crocodile are also at the river.
